1999 Honda 400 TRX Foreman no Spark

Motor turns over but no spark at plug. Whats best way to trouble shoot? Put a meter on lead wires of coil and no reading. Is there a way to test coil,CDI or other?

first thing you want to check are getting a nuetral light?

Because this is a DC CDI system I would start with this because I've seen it in the past. There should be a yellow wire going into the CDI. Unplug the connector with this yellow wire and test it for continuity to ground. If it has continuity then unplug the Regulator/Rectifier then recheck. If there is no continuity then the Reg/Rect. is bad.
