top end kit

I need a top end kit for a 06drx 50. If i go with a 70cc kit will i have to change ex and re jet? Does any one have a 50cc top end kit with maybe a little work done to it not real shure if my boy is ready for a 70 but he could stand just a little jump up from the stock 50. just need some advice and where to get it from

Yes it is air cooled

I would consider:

New Piston/Ring and hone cylinder---Get the compression where it needs to be

Refresh the CVT---Right torque spring, roller and belt set up.


The 50 class also can have strict rules depending on if and where you race.

An OEM port job is generally $400 to $500...any not just anyone does good on a 50cc cylinder

I have seen quite a few $500 paperweights

They are a unique little animal...use only someone proven and competent on a 50.
