are all the EX throttles the same? 400ex 300ex and 250ex.

i dunno about the 250ex but the 400ex and 300ex are differnt styles.

250ex and 400ex are the same.
Trx90 has a limit screw, and the thumb lever is about 1/2" longer.

a common mod for 250ex, 400ex, and 450r riders, is to use the thumb lever off of a TRX90, in the 250/400/450 throttle assembly. This gives a little more leverage for your thumb, thus reducing "Thumb Fatigue", and hand cramps.

BUT,... being longer, creates a different issue of needing to open your right hand a bit farther, and can be more uncomfortable for some people.

I remedied this on my wifes 250ex, and on my daughters TRX90, by modifying the lever.
