they work just fine with factory heel guards you just have to space the other side mounts wich washers so they dont look slanted.

I put a set on my cousins 450R and they bolted right on. Just have to drill a second hole for the other bolt hole on the foot peg.

don't buy them... they are junk
Save a little extra cash and buy some nerfs with heelguards. I hate the plastic ones they make your quad look cheap.

the sad part about your statement is ive had ac's that haven't lasted as long as my tusks did. and the black heel guards may not look the best but for 130 bucks verse 300 for nerfs with heel guards you make the choice if your on a budget.

Dude please, My buddy had a pair and bent them to **** first day. He's not even a hard rider and rides a raptor 350. Seems smarter to spend 300-400 bucks and be done then throw 130 down the porcelain express.

im not gunna argue with what happened to your buddys whatever. im just saying from my personal experience. there can also be flaws in the building materials such as a bad batch of aluminum tube. my ac propegs have ovaled out on my 450r that were 100 percent tight. i got a new set another 300 bucks. and tig welded an extention onto the foot peg mounts so there is less pivot room and still had the same thing happen. im not saying they are top of the line parts and im not saying that they are the only brand i would buy. im just getting at the point name brand isnt always the better route. thats like me saying you better sale your gforce axle now because its not an rpm dominator or lsr. ive personaly broke a g force and currently have a lsr. but ive watched my friend snap a dominator axle in half. things bend in break under pressure theres no denieing it.

But I get lifetime warranty on my axle. Tusk does not offer that.

Its your money buy what you want kid.

exactly.. so pay 200 and get a liftime warranty. Rather than paying for a LSR or RPM.

I installed the exact same set color and all on his 450R no probs bolted right up to the bike seem solid I got on them with my legs on the bars not begs and jumped on them they didnt offer to bend at all.

Also watch ebay for a good set I watched a used of blingstars sell on there the other day for $20.

Tusk seems like a good brand I run there a arm guards and there awesome nice as my pro arms on my ds650

I wouldnt hesitate to buy a set of tusk for my quad they honestly seem like a company that makes affordable parts for budget ppl. I run AC on my quad simply cause at the time thats the best price I got at the time lol :D no worries bro buy what you want and dont worry about what others say.

Cause in the end its your quad and as long as you have it the way you like it then poo on everyone els lol

I'm running the Tusk fat herfs with heal guards. Got them from e-bay for $200, They are holding up great to Pa riding. I got a set of ProArmor sport nerfs if you want to buy them, $50 plus shipping. You'll have to paint them to make them black though.
