my clutch on my 04 r is god awfully stiff...and my motor makes one single ticking noise every time it "de-revving"...and when i get rpms up it makes a grinding sound...and sometimes when revving in neutral or going to take off, i give gas and it dies....

is my clutch slipping?? would that cause all these problems?

what could it be??
thanks

Lube your clutch cable really well, or put a new cable on. That will fix the stiffness.

Any noises coming from your bike while in neutral, probably aren't clutch related.

ok...and i didnt know it does that in all gears not just neutral...like when i rev the throttle and let off, it makes like a "tink" sound...idk

i think its time for a new clutch and if that dont fix it, its time to sell the pos bas****
