oil change question

im borrowing my cousins 450 this week and i told him id change the oil and i was just wondering a couple things. 1 is it a split case or all together? 2 what type of oil you guys running and 3 what about oil filter?

1 all together (wet sump)
2 personal preference eveyrone says what they run is the best
3 oil filter is on the clutch side of the motor will have one allen key and 2 8mm bolts holding the cover on it and again whatever kind u use its all personal preference

sweet thanks. what weight should i use just 10w40 like normal i guess with no moly since its for the clutches too right? and im glad i asked cause someone told me the yami didnt have a filter that it was just a screen. but it sounds like its not too different from my honda. should be easy enough. im guessing it has one big drain bolt under the skid plate.

Yea there is a drain bolt under the oil tank and underneath your shifter. I use AMS oil 10w30 and it works great. Make sure you put the oil filter in the right way also, when you pull the old one out look and see what way it came out.
