Better than the first set of wheels I got. "Happy birthday, we got you a car...your grandmother's rusted out '81 Citation." A couple weeks later on spring break we were visiting some family in NC who had another '81 Citation with a good body but only the 4-cylinder. We hauled it home to Ohio and I got to do my first motor swap. I yanked the 2.5 4-banger and put in the 2.8L V6. My dad was so frustrated because it was such a waste of time that he refused to help. He said if I wanted to make the mess and do it than I was on my own. Believe it or not, it ran when I was done!

I dont think there is a thing i've done in the last 16 years that didnt have one of my boys by my side...lets hope the next 16 are as good if not better!

I have my laptop uploading pics from the GNCC, but Cody read all your comments and thanks you all very much!
He spent the day working on quads and managed to get some practice in before it rained to hard.
(might take a few minutes for the video to finish)

Happy birthday Cody! Looking forward to racing with ya some this year. I rode today for the first time in weeks and should be hitting a few races coming up. I think I'm gonna try the Koontz race this Sunday.

Is that the new one in Aurora? I was told it was a pretty decent course from those that raced there last time.
We will be in Unadilla NY working this weekend, heck, even if we would be home I need a swing arm skid or rotor/chain guard for Codys KFX before we tackle a Koontz race:p

No it's called pleasant creek and it's in Grafton Wv, somewhere off 50 I think. Haha I second that on a swingarm skid, them boys love the rocks!:p I figure it will be a good warm up for snowshoe. I actually didn't feel to bad tonight, we rode about 2 hours at Ron's practice track, which is knarly tight and rough!

We kind of gave up running the Koontz series due to having to dump $300 in the quad after every race:p I dont mind a good challenging race, but damn..between Wisp, Somerset and Snowshoe, one could buy a new quad just by picking up scrap aluminum and parts along the track:p

Haha I know I ran the whole series back in 06, and had to buy a new bike for 07.

They never did find my 4 teeth at Bike Barn....can't remeber if they came out when I wrecked or I spit them out over the next few laps:eek2:

It actually cost me 5 teeth, 3 I think at the race, another when i got home and went to the dentist and yet another when one was cracked and broke about 6 months later. Still dont recall smacking the ground that hard...I geuss thats a good thing:p
