anyone have any suggestions for what kind of motor oil to use for an '87 250r?

mobil 1 10w30 change it every 30 hours or so....
not the high mileage or anyother BS. just the OG M1
there are tons of options/opinions most of them will work just fine. the key is proper oil change intervals..

i use 80 weight gear oil for the tranny of mine. napa oil, or you could spend a bit more and get some red tranny oil from honda, its called hp2.

2X, I use this in my 250R and 450R. Good stuff. :D

should really be using ATF type F for applications like this.
http://www.familycar.com/transmission.htm autos also use a clutchpack

Honda tranny oil in the cases and Klotz Super Techniplate in my tank.
