remove stock guards? help

tonight i was jumping and for some reason i crack two of the bolts through both sides of the peg guards:rolleyes: do they do a lot or should i leave them on? im thinking that they should come off... keep in mind i dont have nerf bars

I dumped mine a long time ago. Also got Roll Design pegs with kicked-up ends that help alot.....If you wear boots while riding - chuck'em.

I dumped em to . Tonight i went out there and removed them. no need for em espc with boots.

Yup. Just rip them off and forget them. They are junk.

I think they are designed to keep your feet away from teh wheels if you do somthing wrong, but the first time my foot slipped off it broke the plastic and i got pulled of and ran over. I say ditch them, unless you like teh way they look.

I took mine off 2 nights ago and went riding with them yesterday and liked it better with them off, its better too if you've got some riding boots, Im saving up for some Roll Design footpegs with the kick up also which should make it even better. :macho

when i get my nerfs, im gonna see how they feel with them on and if they look gay and really dont help, im gonna file them under "G"

i took mine off when i got my footpeg entenders, and i have not had a problem with them not being there.

I like having them there to keep alot of "splash mud" off the back of my boots. Blasting through puddles at a high rate of speed will throw the stuff on the back of your leg.

i like the extra protection but its nothing to wory about i'd forget about mine if they broke:cool:
