Hey Big Mike! We race here all the time or at least we usually do until the Nationals started breaking the bank.
The all quad days usually have a great turn out. Too bad it falls on the same days as the Unadilla race because some pro's usually show up to try and take the purse.
Heck, we might go because I cannot go to Unadilla this weekend for the above reason. Looks like I'm going to have to throw in the stroked engine. Or race the 110 Thumper! Got it straighten out I think by the way.
It is a pretty fast track w/o anything too crazy.
you'll have to purchase a CRA membership. One of the races on the CRA schedule in at Pymatuning, PA.

ETONDADDY.
we will be there this weekend at malvern hopefully trying our new set up. malvern usually gets good numbers ,especially in the 90 class ,this being quads only ,the numbers will be up. concrete gates, long sweaping turns ,some hills ,[use to be some nice doubles] nice fast track. kids usally love it.

we have not been there yet this year, but i heard that they took all the doubles out and made them table tops ('')

Rocky ,bring the big heat!!!! it will blow alot of peoples mind in the cra that haven't seen it yet ! parvin has not run any cra races yet ,so you will be clearing the way for him if you know what i mean. ('')

good luck to all at Unadilla ,wish we could be there ! hopefully we will see everybody in Tennesee.

Cool we'll be there........ sounds like I should take the 36 rear sprocket off and put the 35 on. Sounds like Kyle will have a blast on the 300 there. It's only 2.5 hours from here. I may have two more coming with us. The CRA cards only twenty bucks I can handle that.

Yeah, I just saw the rules on CRA site under "Quad" - missed it the first time - it looks like you have to be 10yrs old to run in the 90cc class. Correct me if I'm wrong - but it doesnt look like we'll be able to go.

Hey guys you can get a membership at the track, and you can be in the 90 class if your on a 90. If it's not a 90 you will be in the 70 class. They go more by bike size then age.

Forgot to mention, the cc's in the 90 class must be 80- 95cc's for 2 stroke and 90-110 for 4 stroke with stock frame and case.

Shawn is that you?? Are you back!! - how much is the membership, and how sure are you about the age restriction thing? I just dont want to have an issue, and get turned away at the gate.

Also, am I being stupid letting an 8 year old who's got great riding skills but has never raced enter into an event like this?

thanks!

No Shawn's not back yet, I'm the girl that anwser's the phone, My daughter race's in the 90 class so I can help you out. There not strict on the age, they are on the bike. What kind of bike do you have? Malvern is a great track to race on if you have never done it before, it's very forgiving. We race there just about every weekend. There is alot of fast kids in the class, but there is also a few kids that just ride stock bike's in the class. From what I've heard there will probly be like close to 15 kids going just in the 90 class. Membership is either $20.00 or $25.00 and it's good for the whole year. I think your kid would have a blast, it's a great group of kids to hang out with.

Hey Mike and Tim, It looks like we will be there. I'm gonna have to bring the DRR with an untested motor though. I'll bring the Thumper too. I did not know it was this easy to bring it back to a 110cc. A friend had all I needed. I sure wish the CRA would just follow the AMA-ATV rules for mini's. Logan is a "tweener" now.

Mike, think you could get Kevin to bring Brandon? This 90cc class is a good one.

Hey Jen, will they start any earlier than the listed Saturday time? I ask because of the 3 race format. How will the scoring go? Kinda cool.
Thanks, Rocky

I tried getting it that way years ago. Do yourself a favor and do not ask.

Hey Tim, I'am working, this is part of my job....lol...

Rocky, times are still the same gates open at 3pm, sign- up @ 4, practice @ 4:30 pm, and race @ 6pm. It's only quads so it's going to go fast. As for scoring it's the same as it would only be 2 moto's. If you get a 1st and a 3rd you have 4 points. In a 3 moto format if you get a 1st, 2nd and 3rd you have 6 points, the person with the least points get's the better placing.

Hey Rocky, we might be there, not sure yet. First it depends on weather I have to work Saturday morning or not, won't know that till Friday afternoon, yea I love my job, LOL....Second Brandon was wanting to go to High Point to watch the Pro's (bikes) run, the Pro National is there this weekend. He has wanted to go for a few years but every year we always had an important race to be at so we never got to go so might hit it this year.
But don't count us out yet, have to see how things go.

Malvern's a great place everyone's nice and when Kyle wrecked track people and spectators came over to see if he was ok. It was a great race the Raptor led the first lap then Kyle led the second lap...... then they came up on the second place womens class quad....... that's when the raptor closed on him, then I watched two young men who were not giving a inch to each other go over a jump together and get together in the air, not good for us ball joint and steering stem........but dudes just fine this morning and can't wait to go back in two weeks for a nother shot at the Raptor.

Mike glad to hear Kyle and the other rider are all right. We would have been there but we are in TT mode for a couple of months. See you guys at Maple Shade on Aug 29/30. Maybe we can talk the Rock in to making the treck up to the hill.
Here is Zack on his 70cc.
