i like the stock gearing on my hondas. when i had yamahas the gearing on the banshee was tall and the warrior was short. just depends on the bike and what type of riding you do.

stock is usually good for all riding

on my yfz i have 15 - 38... i have a few different rears but i usually run that till i go to a big big track.
