is it normal to have oil on the bodies? i used to run elkas, but now i run fox so they are new for me, i have only ran these one time, we have a 50' double and i over shot it by about 25' and flat landed hard, mabey i blew my seals?, they seem to still work fine.

I think you might of blown a seal...call fox

There is always a thin coat on the shaft, while the scraper gets the dirt and crap off it still leaves a super light coat of oil.

i can see a small build up of oil around both scrapers, doesnt seem like i could have blown both seals at the same time, but mabey

I think you are ok man, again, there is always a thin coat as the shaft travels into the body, just like the chrome shaft on a regular shock.
