Has anyone ever tried to use the solid brass roller weights
from EPI yet??

They now have them in 5, 5.6, and 6.1 gram sizes.

I would think they should last a lot longer then the plastic coated ones!

No more flat spotted rollers!!!

But do they cause excessive wear to the softer aluminum ramps in the clutch??

Anyone?

I would think so, plus the plastic coating provides a better running surface. If the aluminum starts to wear and gets rough the rollers will start to stick. Can't imagine why they wouldn't coat them thinking about it.

Stage 6 makes a nice kit for rollers. It is brass rollers that you cover with the plastic covers. When you want to chage weights just remove the cover change out the brass inserts that are lasered marked clearly and your done. Plus they sell replacement covers for like 6 bucks for a whole bag. So instead of buying all new rollers just have to buy the covers instead. Nice plastic case as well to keep them all inorder (gotta love it).

Got mine from Paul Reimer
