300 EX Rev Limiter

I posted a long time ago about my 300 not wanting to start. After 2-3 months of working on it Figured out it's the reverse Staying in gear. If I push the Reverse handle Down it will Start. But it hits the rev limiter when cranked. I've read on here before that I I can Bypass the Rev limiter, I just can't find the thread on it. ANy help will be Greatly appreciated.

if its what i understand, the bike hits the rev limiter at like 1/4 throttle. then there are 2 wires going to connectors on the right side of the quad, the brake side not the shifter... and theres a little cover held there by 2 8mm bolt remove that and disconnect the 2 wires and ground em to the frame i heard people saying that if you dont ground them the same place it wont work right but i cant see any probs hope this helps..
