Help!

i have a trx450er, and i just put a new battery in it because the old one wouldnt hold its charge. anyway when i go to start it sounds like its about to start, but it never does. it starts if i push start it, but not when i try to use the electric start. would changing the spark plug help? please help!

my er did the same thing. make sure the valves are adjusted, thats what i had to do to get mine to fire

Check your valves, like he said. They probably just need adjusting. Be sure to check your decompression also.
