I need some new gear and can't decide. I'm either going with MSR max air, or FOX 180 HC gear. What's your guys'
oppions.

Its really hot here, in the summer, and thats why I was thinking of the MSR since its mesh.

Fox does not support any ATV riders. Go with a company that helps out us racers. I have sponsorship from FLY Racing and they have great stuff at a decent price. JMO

I agree with Jackson. Both MSR and FLY help riders out alot. So does No Fear. Thor sent me a letter this year saying they liked my resume, but they dont support quad riders. So they are a no go. Fox is just a joke when it comes to support.

Yeah I like thor stuff but I noticed that about them. I like fly and msr stuff. The msr is on sale and its the max air mesh jerseys. I was wondering if mesh is any good or does it tear easy?

I would get the MSR max air. It looks better in my opinion.

Kory Ellis used to run Fox when he raced and im pretty sure John Natalie wore Fox boots back when he was on a Honda. Dustin Nelson used to be on Thor. He is with One Industries now though.

Gear is gear, if you like it get it. Just because they don't sponsor any riders you shouldn't buy it? Making gear that protects us when we ride is not enough?

I buy whatever is on clearance :D If I had to pick between Fox or MSR I would go with MSR though.

same here.. I try to hop on the good stuff when it goes on clearance. The entry-level gear just isn't near as comfortable, but its cheap.

Decided to go with this set. The "disorder" color was on sale.

Fox Sponsor's John Natalie. But I think thats it. He goes back and forth between wearing shift and fox gear. Shift is Fox's ATV brand gear. Fly and MSR/Answer sponsor pretty much everyone that races. Moose racing used to be up there but they cut back there sponsorship a bit.

Check out Fly Racing's Kinetic Mesh

Natalie is sponsored by Fly now not Fox/Shift

All fox stuff I've ever had always falls apart. So far I've had good luck with my msr stuff though

had fox 180 and it was ****. belt buckle broke first ride and the gear stained way too easy and the shirt got teards from velcro sticking to it.

now i have fly racing gear and its ALOT better. true to size and alot more comfortable.

Moose dropped their amatuer sponsorships for the most part, but they have had a pretty decent contingency the past 3 years or so.
