I'm going to look at a early 90's (owner not sure of year) for my son. It sounds like it has some carb issues as it sat for a while. That shouldn't be a big deal. What concerns me a little bit is that when it did run it would pop out of gear once in a while. Apparently it is shifted by twisting the handle bar grip. At least that's what I gathered over the phone. He thinks it's a cable or linkage issue. Does anybody have experience with this this set up ? Can you give me some advice I'm going to look at it on Saturday. He wants $575.00 for it. It's in pretty nice shape other than these problems.
