300ex with a 400ex carb running a #45 pilot?

my bike seems to be running best at about 3 turns out with a 42 (i think it's a 42 at least. might be a 40 i'll check tomorrow)

should i go up to a 45? seems almost too big for a 300.. but i also don't know what's done to my engine so who knows

sounds big to me.im running a 42 in my 400 but put whatever it runs best at in there

well i finally got around to doing it and it runs like a champ now. i had always had trouble with bogging when i go from idle to wide open. i thought maybe it was because of the bigger carb but now with the 45 pilot at 1 1/2 turns out it just roars like no other.
