Mechical Seal

I'm replacing the mechical seal in my R. With the new OEM
seal, it come with a white on one side and black on the other
seal. When I removed the old one from the cover, I don't
remember it being in there. Anyone know please? Thanks.

Turn the impeller around look on the inside.

Be careful installing that mechanical seal. It gets damaged easily and leaks. I haven't had one leak on me yet, but I know people have had some trouble before.
