1st National at Unadilla

We are planning on going to Unadilla next weekend for our first National race. Any thing special that I should be aware of, we are getting there Thursday night so we can practice on Friday. I know they cut the track off for the 50's. I was wondering how the qualifing goes and what format they run for the final, one moto, 2 motos?

They'll post the practice order thursday you'll get three rounds Friday if you want them all. Same pratice order for Saturday...... you'll run your first moto Saturday if there's more than twenty they'll run two heats and a LCQ. If there's less then twenty your run the main on Sunday if not you'll have to make the show on Saturday they'll take the top eight from the two heats and four from the LCQ and that will be the field for Sunday. I believe that's right we always got lucky and didn't have to run a heat or a LCQ. Hope this helps....... good luck have fun he'll love it. You wait until he see's all the big rigs.
