View Full Version : bens at it again (frame repair 2)

any of you guys want your frame tested for strength and durability i will loan out my son to you. he's working me pretty hard on frame repairs. lol my question to you guys is... should i reinforce the other side too? it has a small crack in it that i was going to weld, but i was thinking of reinforcing the right side as well. any comments would be appreciated. by reinforcing i mean installing metal rod on rt side, as well as the broke left side.

Man Bryan, that's two frame breaks in less than 2 months! I think you are onto something with Ben. We can have a frame builders shoot out with Ben as the test pilot. that boy rides hard!

We have had our fair share of breaks in the past also..

Zach had a great time chasing Ben in the first moto.......Wish Ben would have been there for the second one. I got a few good PICs..............What's the plan for getting it back together?

todd thats some great pics. i have some video that we have been watching and zach was on the move chasing him down that last lap. the wider track makes it alot more fun! im going to weld it back up and try to make it through the rest of the season. end of the season im going to tear it down and go from there. ben was bummed about the 2nd moto, he wanted to get it on again. hopefully we can hook up and do it some more, theres nothing like some competition to make them better.

eric, your on to something, at least i can get my welding skills honed.lol

quadjunkies, were running elka standard travel, building a new bike that will be long travel. that was just a freak accident, trying to hold off that apex at the finish line he landed sideways and it just snapped. thats racing!
