I am in the process of buying a honda odyssey for a few hundred dollars. I have never ridden one of these and am curious to try it out. Has anyone had any experience with one of these and what is your opinion. It would mainly be something for my wife to ride around in. Let me know what you think of them, the pros and the cons? Thanks

FL250s are rough. FL350 and Pilots are better, but still not overly smooth.

A little rough on the body, but they're a blast to goof around on. We had a couple back in the 80's, and as soon as we kids could reach the controls, our parents turned us loose. We had a lot of fun at Sand Lake in Oregon. We would all pack up a lunch and ride to the Big Bowl. My uncle would stand on the back on the way there, and every time we hit a bump or little hill, he would make us wheelie. It was a good time. Don't expect too much from it, but they are fun to bash around on, and are almost indestructable.

I had a 350, did the suspension and it was a blast and pretty fast. Only problem was its a two stroke 350 single cylinder and it sits behind the seat and gets very little air. Mine would overheat after 20 minutes of riding and you'd have to let it cool down.

Whenever I saw odyssey it reminded me of a clip and then I actually found it on youtube.

I've got a 350. Jetting is critical on those things. Do some plug chops, make sure it's right where it needs to be. I burned up a couple pistons learning this lesson.

They are a blast, and can be pretty fast. Whenever I've had mine out my 400ex buddy always commented on how he had a hell of a time keeping up. Something about being strapped in with a cage around you, there is no fear. Balls to the wall the entire time.

I've always wanted one but I can't find one for less than $1700

I gave in and bought it. I paid 250 for it and it needs some tlc. I plan on taking it down to the frame and trying my best to restore it. I have found a place to get parts and see what I can do. If worse comes to worse I know I can get my money back.

we had a pilot a few years back, still holds the distance record on our tabletop. of course its kinda tough to beat that record when the line is somewhere in the trees on the other side of the berm for a left hand corner:blah:
