View Full Version : in a pinch for tie rods?

I have found yesterday when converting our drx70 from 41" to 44" that 04-05 YFZ450 tie rods work great!!!! You must trim approx 1/4" off one end (I recomend the standard threaded end).
The DRX tie rod ends (at least on our 08) are the same as 04-05 yfz 450s.
Just a stupid little peice of knowledge.

Is it a duel arm 41" drr? I have thought of narrowing my boys 44' to a 41' for woods racing.

I got mine off of a 2007 Arctic Cat DVX 400 for my son's 44 Inch wide DRR 90. No trimming, just toss them in and align as usual and they work great!
