any info on getting the ds450 to start faster for holeshots?

Start it simi- cold; warm up the engine enough to get the oil and water warm before the race- start and let idle at 1 min before race idle for 10 sec. and don't start untill the flag drops! Turn the switch on at the 10 sec. mark! Try it a few times- it works!

So in other words, only let the motor idle for about 10sec, 1min before the race. Then about 10 sec before the flag drops, flip the switch to prime the fuel pump and wait for the flag?

Make sure it's warm to the touch on the side cases before the 1 min. restart, then start and let idle untill the warm-up idle goes down (about 10 to 15 sec.) wait to start when flag drops! Main thing is not to start too hot and not right before the 30 sec. mark!
