to remove the TPS can i take the whole thing off the carb or do i have to keep the actual black sensor piece on the side of the carb... i had problems with it and when i took it to the dealership they took the sensor and threw it away

They make TPS bypass plugs, but to be honest with you, I am not sure if you can run the bike without it.

all you have to do is unplug the tps on the yfz to get rid of it. I do not think removing that black thing matters but I am not sure.

Thats some messed up stuff. Make a cover and bolt it on. Metric bolts are at Lowes. Are you from Plainsboro, NJ?
