need to shine plastics

my brother has a z 400 and he has no idea if he should use regular car wax or a special kind of quad plastic wax.

I wiped my yellow z down with a automotive paint reducer and wow it worked very well taken out the deep dirt in the plastic I also read that Nu Finish Car Polish does a great job...I wouldn't use it right after the reducer maker sure its dry first
