are there any differences in the YFZ carbs over the years? and does anyone know who makes a good rebuild kit for an 07 carb? there is one on ebay for 04-06 yfz carb but could i buy it for my 07?

I think they're all the same. Never heard of them being any different. I also haven't heard of anyone needing to rebuild a YFZ carb. Normally, it's simply tear it down, clean it, then put it back together.

i've always just pulled mine apart and solvent , brake clean , and air... put it back together no problem... i did finally have to buy a bowl gasket/seal , it wanted to start seeping

I wouldn't recommend using brake cleaner. It's hell on rubber. That's more than likely why your seal started going bad on your bowl. If you don't have carb cleaner just use gas and a toothbrush then compressed air.

ya i know it don't like the rubber much lol i get it at work for free and usually i do the rebuilds at work. so i get paid to clean my own carb.. lol
