Is anyone here going to be there?
Once again, I will be working the race as a SCORE official, and this time I've gotten promoted!
Rather than working as a "Road Crossing personell", (Flagman), ...
This time we will be in charge of running Check Point #3, at race mile 296.81, about 5 miles south of San Vincete.
Friday night we will be partying in Ensenada. We will probably be parked at the fuel pit, right across from the starting line. We'll be in the 36' brown/tan Bounder motorhome. If we're not in the motorhome just look for us in one of the bars, LOL!
(but I'll give you a hint... "Paris Club" is always a good bet for finding us !)
Then in the morning, we will be at the starting line at 6am. we will watch the bikes and quads leave the line, then we will head out to our post about 100 miles south of Ensenada.
so If anyone is going to be there, stop by and say Hi, bring me a cold beer, or let me offer you one of mine!
if you or your team is going to be entered in the race, let me know what freq's you will be running, so I can monitor your progress, and give me a high five as you come through my check point!
