Fuel Filter help????????????

hell i bought a new fuel filter and figured i could just throw it on and when i looked at the quad there was not one ven on there and there should be does anyone know if theres a special spot for them that im not looking cause i was told it was in the line coming from the feul on of switch to the carb. and it def is not please help??????

you will have to put it in between the petcock and the carb. there is only a line about 3 inches long so you will probably have to do some modding with hose to put one in. steve

Mine had one on there stock it was a PITA so I took it off.

o ok i was thinking i had to mod it does anyone have a pic of what it should look like when im done and where can i get the hose for the line any ideas?????

i have a little clear screen type fuel filter on mine, i could take a pic to show your where i put it

if i have some time today i will show how i did it, i cut the stock line, right where the send happens.

On my 05' theres only a white cone shaped screen that sits inside the fuel line inlet fitting for the carb, other than that I have no actual filter that I know of. Any of you guys run a fuel filter?
