im plannin on getting a arms soon and i was wondering what are the advantages of going with long travel and what are the disadvantages going with standard??

Long travel is the way to go, you wil not regret it.

the average rider will definitely not benefit from a long travel setup. you already have axis shocks.. revalve and respring those and get ST arms.

they are more sensitive to adjustments because of more shaft travel but like pipeless said, an everyday rider will not see much of a difference. You have an awesome set of shocks already, just get them revalved and buy a set of +2 standard travel a-arms

long travel shocks are not any longer travel than standard. It is just sales hype. They should be called Long shock not long travel. Standard shocks can be set up to work just as well as longer shocks.

If you can find a deal on LT arms and shocks get them, they feel so much better its like riding on a cloud. But sense you already have ST shocks find a pair of plus +2 or 3's and you'll have a good setup.

yea ime really happy with my axis shocks i have ill probly keep them for now maybe later on down the road if i can find a good deal on a lt frontend then id buy it
