Has anyone used a Lifan Motor to replace the stock motor in an extreme 90?? I am looking to either rebuild the stock motor which was bored out to a 110cc. Or buy a new 110cc Lifan motor. Any info on this swap or rebuild will help tremendously. And can i use the same header and exhaust with this swap??? Thanks

I have one in the box now but we haven't used it yet. If you can wait a couple of days I'll let you know how I like it. I've read some good things about it and that was my deciding factor on going with it. Plus I like the oil window and the filter setup.

The one i am looking at is the model# 1P52MF 110cc 4 speed semi-auto. $369.00 plus shipping. Yeah let me know how it works out for you. I'm not going to be in a hurry on my decision anyway. I just got off of the phone with the guy at TBolt USA and he had nothing but good to say about em. He did'nt recommend one more expensive, or try to throw any pitches. Time will tell. Thanks for the help, Rich

Got the motor in and the wiring done. Jam had a chance to ride the bike a tad yesterday and he was impressed! I left the bike stock for now and he said it has more grunt than the YX150 with ported head and cam. I don't think it has as much bottom end but it pulls like a raped ape in mid to top. Will let you know more as he rides it more.

What model did you buy, and where from? I've been looking on TBlot USA, and Hooper Imports something or other. The model i was looking at was the 1p52fmf. 110cc semi auto. Thanks again for the update and good luck with the motor. Rich

I got ours from a company in Ohio called Wholesale Cycles, The guy's name is Jack very helpful, and a great deal. You were talking about a 110, we went with 140's, and I think Rob, didnt you go with a 160 this time? But yes you can use the same exhaust (stock).330-434-7777 that the number for them

Went with the 150. 147cc's to be exact.

Went through SSR to get this motor. I couldn't tell you anything about the 110 Lifan but I'd say get a manual shift motor. Depending on how old your kid is you may regret it in a year or so if you don't.

the thing to remember on these motors is your racing class rules

most all 125cc and up motors are manual clutch
