Question to original poster Why do you want to go with such a large compression on a 416kit?

for some reason the automotive crowd usually dispises J.E. and Wiseco are thought of much higher. I know a lot of racers advertise J.E. pistons but there sure are a lot that consider them low end crap.

Id like some more room to bore in the future, so i can do 426 and 440 at a later date if needed.

sparks does have a piston that he designed. je made it for him. the valve reliefs are a little different and and it dont really have a dome like most pistons. je is good piston and the sparks is too.
