he started on the far outside of the gate because he showed up at the line right b4 the moto started. Pulled 2nd outta holeshot to an LTR then passed him midway through the track and pulled a half lap lead and won. It was real sweet to see everyone out on the track watching him

Not to steal your thunder but Harold Goodman showed up at my local track about 4 years ago and rode someones bone stock 400ex and ran pretty much with the novice class who were all on tricked out bikes the whole time. He was screwing around not really sweatin. We were all riding are arses off. Pretty impressive.

Mid-South Harescrambles attract a lot of big names from the GNCC series. It's a lot of fun to race with the best, and not so much fun to compare lap times. But yeah, William Yokely, Bill Ballance, Donny Ockerman, Taylor Kiser, Johnny Gallager, Brandon Sommers, etc. etc.

Darren Durham is a local and I see him at the local tracks all the time. People watch his class in amazement of his speed. It isn't even a competition. There are a lot of pro XC quad guys that live within 5 miles of my house. Everyone calls me an idiot for getting into MX because of all the people I'd have to ride with for XC but it's just not my thing..

Just a reminder that this July 23rd Dustin Wimmer will be at the Proving Grounds doing motocross training for the quad guys attending Dream Camp 2009. Jason Dunkelberger will be there working with the quad guys all four days of dream camp.
I've ridden with them both, and used to think I was fast, but even cutting the track I couldn't keep up.

I'm hoping to head over to Renner this year. That local boy was Michael Coburn who's one of the fastest Pro TT riders now.
I've raced against Daryl a few times. It's kinda weird racing against one of your sponsors. Gotta make sure you don't take him out!

John and Michelle Natalie usually come to wednesday night practices at the local tracks. Along with local pro's alex and ash woskob. Alex can run a quad just as fast as he can a bike. It's scary!

It is neat to watch good riders switch back and forth from bikes to quads.Natalie is no slouch on a bike either.
