my counter shaft striped

i was riding down the street and it striped , has anyone else had this prollem? jeez wat a pain in the arse this is, im gunna get some picks for everyone

well i got a deal for ye...i got a brand new 350x motor..i was gonna put in my 300 but now im gonna get a 400ex...the 350 motor is in my frame now..ive got it set up where it will bolt directly into a 300 chassis...ill sell you...the motor...complete wiring harness for it....400ex carb or stock 350x your choice....stock 400ex headpipe..wil need to be extended so will reach around stock the frame...if your interested pm me and we will talk price

don't fell bad, My broke in half 2 days before a race. I just welded the shifter to the shaft. worked real good. If you want to replace it you have to split the case. All you need is a little tack weld that you can grind off if you ever want to take it off.

My 3rd counter shifter is stripped but not completely, i took it to a dealership and they are estimating already the price it will cost to fix!....around 1000 they say. But are you talking about the shifter shaft being stripped, because if thats the problem, the easiest thing i think is to just grind out the gap on the actual shift lever and tighten the **** outta it....worked great for me.
