Pappy,
I have 2 new aftermarket frames, neither of which are powdercoated.
I kinda really like the bare look with all the heated areas from welds and stuff. I've seen some Walsh a-arms that were clear coated and I was wondering what the durability of this method would be.
Everybody has told me that even though they are new, the frames need to be blasted to rough it up so the powder adheres. I'm assuming the blasting would ruin the fresh fabricated look, so would I have to clear it with paint or how would the clear powder stick?
If I decided to keep the bare look what are my options - if any? How durable?
Thanks
