I cut off the end of my stock exhuast, the end cap mount or whatever it it, and then too a torch to the sprak arrestor or eternals of the end cap and then mounted the straight end cap back on....however, it bogs out and hestitates really bad and the silver end cap is turning like purple or blue and wierd colors, i think it's running lean, it back fires alot too. i need to rejet. What is stock size..main and pilot..and what size do you recommend for this setup? how about air box mod? thanks for the help....later

Yeah that is a good sign of running lean. The stock main jet is a 148 and the pilot is a 38. I would go with a 155 main and a 40 pilot and go from there after plug tests. You may need to go higher or lower depending on yours mods and elevation.

hey thanks, should i buy some new spark plugs for this or use the old one that i have in there now- i mean for the color test part? by rejetting, will this make it run stronger and meaner? :D
