Anyone make a small rear grab bar pack for the 400? Just would like to be able to throw a few small items (wallet, keys, phone etc) in a small zipper nylon bag that mounts to grab bar. Anything like that made?

Thanx.

Alot of companies make a thing called a "six-pack rack", im pretty sure one could be helpful for what your doing.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places . . . any leads. I looked at RMATV - but all their packs are like waist straps the best I can tell.

Here's a link to some options at Rocky Mountain (http://www.rockymountainmc.com/typeDetail.do?navType=type&webTypeId=92&navTitle=Motorcycle+Accessories&webCatId=19)

I have two packs from Dirt Bike Gear (http://www.dirt-bike-gear.com/) on my motorcycle, one on the rear fender and one on the front number plate. They are the best built packs I've seen anywhere.

With any of these you may need to get creative to mount to the rear grab bar, but should not be too difficult.

The only thing I see negative about this is when you want to put your foot in the grab bar or something when in deep water or mud. It may also be hard to keep clean.
Would be useful other than that. for me at least

Place it were the stock tool pack goes. My stock tool pack is located attached to the bottom of my seat just get some short bungy straps and strap it on.

I will never have mine in water that deep, I dont plan on spending a few grand to fix it afterwords.

you could make a box that fits in the stock location. just make it bigger with some aluminum or something and mount it the way you want. there are some nice pouches too though. steve

a few of my buddies made something like that, but i didn't like the way it looked under the back. looked out of place and to big. plus you had to bend over to get into it, and there always the chance of breaking it as well.
