I have a leager +1 steering stem for sale basically brand new. I bought it for my quad from someone on here to realize its for a narrow frame. It can fit on a stock frame but you will need to do some modifications. anyone interested make me an offer. I might keep it and make it work for mine but wanted to check wiht everyone, dont wanna mod a perfectly new stem if I can find a good owner for it.

Do you have any bigger / more pictures? The end looks different than a Laeger's.

How much? Interested in possibly trading for a stock height standard front type Laeger stem?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's either not a Laeger stem or it's possibly not for a 250R - possibly 400ex or even Z400.

Not the best pic - but one of a Laeger stem and you can see the difference.

I am almost positive its not for a Laeger narrow frame. The narrow frame stems used a bolt that went into the end. (like what envy has pictured but its hard to see) Standard frames use your typical stem with the threaded end and castle nut.

Obviously someone misinformed you or sold you something that isn't right.

However, seeing as you asked on a forum - you are now informed, so to pawn off something on someone else is just wrong.

As stated, this is NOT a Laeger stem for a narrow frame - so if it doesn't work on your standard frame it WILL NOT work on a narrow frame.

Your best bet is to find out exactly what you have otherwise a buyer will likely file a claim if they pay through paypal or you will just screw them as you have been screwed by taking a money order.

Get some good, bigger pictures of the top and ends so we can help you figure out what you have.
