RIDER DOWN-WORCS Pro rider Josh Frederick

At the third round of the Quad Cross series on Memorial Day weekend. Frederick sustained a broken tibia and fibia, broke six ribs and suffered a punctured lung. He underwent surgery early this week and is recovering in the hospital.

I feel bad for Josh, he was running so strong this year too.

It just wont seem the same not seeing Josh out there for WORCS round in Wa. next week :(

I hope he has a speedy recovery ,.

This is the hill Josh crashed on. For the AMA National they added a double on the down hill side of Yamaha hill even the Pro MX racer were singing it.http://www.exriders.com/vbb/attachment.php?s=&postid=3608993

That picture does it no justice at all. It was on an already steep hill and the drop off was even steeper. Many of the pros weren't clearing it and even those that did clear it didn't make it seem to easy.

I hope Josh recovers quickly......

A friend of mine (eric mott....for quad junkies) said only 3 pros were doing it last weekend

Only warnia and nelson were doing it. some others tried it and landed it but they wouldn't do it again, because what the picture doesn't show at all is the sharp right hand turn right as you land. if you can get the speed to clear it, the problem would be to stop the quad enough to make the turn.

I feel soooo bad for him! Maybe Reddish will do a few minor changes to keep things a little safer .

Yeah I heard he got hurt to. I was there the day before and I crashed as well. I didnt break anything, but I am damn sure feeling, but I did bend my tie rods, now I'm have some 3 day shipped to me, thats not cheap.
