I like the ideas and the paint scheme, but I must agree on the paint prep. I'm down with rattle can jobs, but it would appear that the paint job was just done with the bike all put together?!
Is that paint on the inside of your tires, as well as our exhaust tip?

It's not like it affects performance, but at least take the parts off the bike before you spray them.

Other than that, nice work on the plastics and style. Good luck with the x-country riding.....that's hella' fun.

Yeah.. looks like everything was sprayed on the bike with no prep whatsoever. Sorry but I think you made it look worse then stock. Its 06 and it just looks ghetto....

Why did you paint the seat?

Someone got drunk and forgot to lock up the spray cans. Even in the first pic you have overspray on the engine, shocks, basically everywhere. The quad is not a cheap toy. I would have taken a little better care of it while painting.

Just by the way he writes I would bet he's like 14 years old and daddy bought him a brand new quad. Since it wasnt cool enough, he sprayed paint everywhere and now it's getting there ...

Not a bad looking bike. But you gotta tape off or take stuff apart man before you paint. Im not trying to be an a** but it would look alot better if you did it the right way. All you guys made it out like he ruined it but he can redo it and prep it right and it can look good.

Ahhh yes, which brings me back to my initial point: DON'T SMOKE CRACK

We're not hating, we're just having fun at another's expense. You can't expect to throw-down that kind of fun in a can and not take a bit of flack for it. It's his bike, he'll have to live with it. And when the paint starts to peel & chip from the seat...it'll be a whole new world of crispy fun. Ya live, ya paint.....ya learn.

No offence, but he asked for opinions, and that is what he got. People were a little harsh, but they were posting their opinions on what they think about it, because that is what he asked for.

As for my opinion, not bad, but in my opinion you could of made it look a lot better without painting the seat and hood. Remember, the paint will only look as good as the amount of prep you do.
