Park Brake Block Off Plate, Same Reduced Clutch Pull as Kit?

Will the simple, $12 block off plate still reduce clutch pull by 30% like the full kit with a new lever and perch do? I don't like the slop and long clutch take up, but don't mind the stock lever if it'll still be a shorter pull with just the plate.

i dont think it makes a difference. as long as you are talking about a brake block off. it has nothing to do with the pull on the clutch since it is not the same cable. I would invest in a good easy pull set up and do away with the parking brake stuff. it saves weight and looks better. My p-brake did not work anyway so i finally got one. steve
