Wish me luck in Afganistan

I haven't posted here in awhile. I have been voluntold that I will be going to Afganistan for a year. I will return July of 2010. Not a great thing, but something after 16 years of service in the Navy they said it's time for me to get deployed on land, instead of a being deployed on a ship.

I will be going through training in SC in July. Then report to Kuwait for further training late July. The beginning of August I will be in Afganistan.

I will keep in touch from time to time, since I will have a computer over there.

I finally made here about 10 days ago to Afghanistan. I'm here in Bagram Airfield. Talk about a dust bowl.

Bagram sucks unless your a Poog. I personnally like being outside the wire. Less rules out there. I got a speeding ticket on Bagram for doing 5MPH over the speed limit (25mph). deff. a remf camp Good luck brother.
