Pull them off and spray paint into them and then replace them and let it dry.

So spray paint into them, and then slide them back onto the handle bar??

1-2 oz. water, with 2-3 drops of dishsoap stirred in till completely mixed, will do the same thing. dip your finger into the water, and rub the inside of your grips. push them onto the bars, (This will be easy, because the soap helps lube them), then let it sit for a day or two. When he solution dries, the soap will be sticky, and dry to hold them like a glue.
To remove them, just slide a small screwdriver under the grip, and add some water. It will become slippery again, and be easily removed.

The soap works unless you go through allot of water. Then it will get loose again.

Good point.
I hadn't really ever thought of that, due to I live in Southern California.
We ride only in the desert, and rarely ever see a wet trail.

on edit-
I suppose that in a wet environment, you could use a very light amount of rtv silicone applied on the inside of the grip, and let it dry for a couple of days.

Hairspray does great but like the soap, when it gets wet it starts to get loose.

you can get a little couple-ounce bottle of grip glue for like $5... i got some from RMATV made by Scott when i ordered new grips, and it's worked well.

OK sounds good guys, I think I'm going to go with the soapy stuff or the spray paint until I get new grips. <----- That might not be awhile though hence I have to buy a darn axle!!! :(

I have a stock for sale off of an 07 with about 8 hours on it. It's in the for sale section. Shoot me an email at the.ross.family@gmail.com and maybe we can work something out.
