Honestly, everyone got their favorites. some may say HMF, some may say Yosh. ect.. In my opinion, look around and find what you want, look at the DB readings on different pipe's and just buy something that suits you.

i would stay away from yosh and big gun. nobody ever buys those pipes and i'm sure it is for a reason!!! i would say hmf. you can put quiet cores in the hmf if it is to loud.

do a little research... google 300ex pipe shootout i'm sure a mag has done one at some point. and the hmf will give you good power but even with the quite cores their still loud.. sparks is what i like running on my yfz.. how quite do you need to be? legal for a ridding area or to keep the the old neighbors that can't hear you say anything two feet away from em' but your exhaust is to loud a half mile away?

well with the hmf you'll be pleased with the power and then momma can still here ya from the porch! which in my mind, is a good thing. just in case somethin were to happen

And i was looking on line at both Big Gun and HMF

The HMF said to increase power about 8%

The Big Gun said to increase by 3%

Big Gun = $350

HMF =250$

just giving a opinion

But I think I will go with the full system HMF

Thanks

sparks with a quiet core. 400 for the full system and 40 for the quiet core. you could probably get it cheaper than that if you PM Colby@C&DRacing on here

edit: and the hmf full system would be closer to 400 or more. it's 250 for only the slipon. just sayin'

yes, your stock header will fit. and since you are going with just the slipon, the HMF is pretty choice. definitely the best slipon on there.

For a trail rider I agree with the only exception being that it was loud.
