will 450r elka rear shock fit a 2004 400ex

If you search it, its been talked about before. But I think it does but it requires different link and a revalve. Not positive though. Unless your getting it for damn cheap or already have it I would look for a shock for a 400

it will fit but its a tad shorter than the 400 shock.
it will mess up the geometry of the bike. this is what colby at C&D racing told me when i had the same question.
