I want to do buy the bottom end of a ex with reverse. Is this a pretty simple mod? Does it bolt right up?

i would say that it does. it would be a good idea to have reverse. you would just need to make sure you get the lever the the reverse on the new ones or get a hotstart switch to use as the reverse button. the mounts on the new ones look like the they are the same as the old ones. i think the internals with the tranny are the only things that are different. it would be sweet mod i think, steve

who cares bought reverse just flintstone it or dump the clutch and throw some dirt.......( real men have no reverse)lol

I am trying to find other places to buy the bottom end other than ebay. the only guy selling one right now is someone I've bought from and things were "thrown together"
