www.kazaalite.com its just like kazaa, but it doesnt have any of the add's, and spyware that gives ya virus'es. But the differnt programs share networks, so if you download something.. awayz scan it with an anti virus..

goto www.download.com and get avg anti virus.

You can get them because of the spyware stuff kazaa uses, like gator and shtuff. And also in what you download can be virused.

i just started using kazaa but i constantly scan for viruses, i run norton anti virus wont that find out if i get a virus

I dont really worry about it much. Back when I was programming alot, and spent weeks at a time working on things, I would have been madder than heck to have it all deleted by a virus, but now... a virus is just an excuse to start over (and faster)....

are the chances good of getting a virus from kazaa? a ton of my freinds use it......im not too up on this stuff i just know how to work it.....when somone uploads from u is that safe:p i dont know shlack oh yeah, i cant get a virus with kazaa just running can i? i never open any of the pop ups or anything

well good advice is if your downloading music...always check teh size of the file its its only like 300KB dont DL it!!! my cousin said people can actually hack into your comp while your DLing and do whatever he wants...but it seems to me that would be impossible if your behing a firewall. Iv had kazaa screw my stuff up twice, well teh first time it was morpheus (basically the same thing) and its not goin back on this computer...we just had a 21MHZ processor put in this thing and it is FAST!!!. ive never heard of winmx im gonna hafta check it out...one thing about antivirus programs make sure your always downloading the new virus definitions or you might as well not even have the program on your computer slowing it down!! also there never gonna catch everything...hundreds of viruses are created daily!!! why would anyone do that?? what a bunch of losers!
