Well I was at The Badlands in Attica Indiana and they have this pretty knarly MX track. They had a 110 foot table top there and on the 3rd lap I went for it and overshot it and landed in the flat. It ended up bending my axle so much that it cracked my carrier in a few places. I didn't know if anyone else has ever landed so hard they destroyed there carrier?

Damn by the looks of it, looks like a rough landing. Everything else on the bike in one piece...?

Yeah my 4 wheeler actually died when I landed and I still don't know why. I was so bummed I only got 3 laps in though. The track was pretty sick and it was my first time being there. They had some huge jumps and this one was by far the biggest.

That looks pretty bad, but a bent axle and broken carrier is better than broken bones.

I've never broken a bone *knock on wood*:p I figured the axle would have snapped before the carrier would cracked like that.

Haha it seems like ever since I moved into the 450 class it's injury after injury but i'm riding good this year after my knee surgury in January. Yeah I kinda thought the axle might snap too. It's a laegers axle so lets see how there warranty holds up.

was that a stock carrier?? I could see that breaking.. time to upgrade to a billet carrier, but like the other guy said, good thing thats all that broke!

Yeah it was a stock carrier and I already have a LSR billet carrier and and brand new LSR axle on the way.

Yeah they built it last year and its a super crazy MX track. I can't believe they built this one like this at an offroad park like that.

I pulled the carrier out earlier and the complete right side fell apart and there was a crack going all the way across the whole carrier.

its so weird how that works, i got buddies who would break a bone every year...i never did in 10 yrs of racing or bent a axle....

then bam broken back , broken hiper bent axle....ahhhh i should of just went the collar bone route every years like everybody else does:p

they do say do it right and do it once...lol just never applied to crashing

Been there done that. Landed crooked on a 80 foot step up. The carrier was cracked all the way across just like you said. Fourwheelers are meant to stay on the ground. Much cheaper that way.

First off, how do you over shoot a 110ft table? Then how do you overshoot and flat land a 110ft jump and have what some might say minor damage to the quad and no damage to body. Consider yourself lucky to not be replacing bearing carrier, axle and not having to heal up some body parts.

Well honestly I couldn't tell you who owned it but it is a nice place to ride.

Haha yeah Charlie I had to go for it.

Well...I guess I just missjudged the jump. It happens sometimes. I'm not complaining at all that i'm just replacing parts and not hurt. I know im lucky to not be hurt.

Anyway I got all my parts today and put it all back together. Its ready to go for the races this weekend.

Haha I know man. I only got to ride 3 laps on it but I did manage to hit every jump. That catapult double right out of that corner was a pretty cool jump but I never seen any quad hit that or the Table that day. Were you there this last weekend? They had a huge turnout.
