one hole is the snorkel, tht gets cut off the other you plug with a
cap from the plumer dep. from a hardware store.

this boot works .i used it for 2 years till i changed to one from a ds 650

Your the best to ask for help cataway haha. Ive been trying to figure out what i want to do with carbs. I am gettin a friends fcr39 not the 450r carb. I am going to get this 450r boot to the air box so what kind of boot would work with the fcr39 to go from the carb to the engine???? also do you know if the 450r air filter will fit in my air box??? thanks cataway!!!

the only boot other than the stock boot that can be made to fit to the air box is the trx400ex boot and that does take some modding, but it will fit the fcr.

i tired to fit the 450r boot to the box but there is no good way and

the boot is to big ti fit to the carb, unless you get a R A T stack
or its equivalent.

go with the 400ex boot you wont be disappointed

will my throttle cable work or do i need the yfz cable?

there are 2 ways , you can get a cable to work with both carb and thumber or get the yfz cable and a 400ex thumber.
400ex thumber is better than the stocker..02

If you are still looking for a engine-to-carb boot, I have one. I purchased the DRZ boot when I installed an FCR carb on my KFX. In the end, I reinstalled the stock boot. I never ran the DRZ boot, so it is still brand new. $10 shipped. Here's a few photos:
