Anyone have any experience with their motor work on a 250r? Previous owner of mine told me Trinity "did the motor", but i dont even see the R listed on their site.

I'm not sure about R motors but they did a 400ex 440 sleeve for my brother and customer service sucks, they bent him over on price real bad too. Told him an upfront qoute and it was bout 3 times that at the end, and they didn't run into any problems:eek2:

My brother deals with them all the time. He's never had any problems. I will agree some of their prices are a little steep, but 2 weeks ago when my bike wouldn't run for crap.......I called Trinity and talked to James. He gave me some advise on my setup and it worked!!! I think at one time they did build a few "R" motors.

Yes it does. And the cuts in the head resemble their banshee heads on their website.

If your engine was done by them in 03-before it should be good work, they were one of the top builders back in the day until they changed there staff. Now there 2stroke work is crap, but the parts they sell ARE top notch!!

I have no idea. The previous owner was pretty uninformed. i have yet to open up the motor. He did tell me when he got it, it was set up for race gas, but he could not get it running right. So he changed out the head for a pro design cool head and ran it on 93.

if it's a true trinity cylinder it will have "TRINITY" and a roman numeral under it.

i have their IV which is considered a dune port and it is the most arm ripping 250 i've ever ridden.

What do they consider the II?

a good play port. add some compression and it'll be a torque motor. imo

I should probably take this thing somewhere to get checked out. Not sure which bore, piston size, compression, etc...
